National Landscapes are the best of Australia's nature and culture - inspirational places like Australia's Red Centre, the Great Ocean Road, Australia's Coastal Wilderness, Kakadu, the Kimberley, the Flinders Ranges and Australia’s Green Cauldron, the bioregion encompassing north eastern NSW, the Gold Coast and Scenic Rim.
The National Landscapes Program is identifying and assisting the development of the best experiences that this bioregion has to offer to the international Experience Seeker tourist. This could include marketing and branding, making improvements to existing attractions, tours and infrastructure, specialised training and business development.
An Experience Development Strategy (EDS) is currently being prepared for Australia’s Green Cauldron. This will form the basis for developing and improving experiences that meet the needs of Experience Seekers. Many Scenic Rim tourism operators and sustainability practitioners have been contributing to the development of the Green Cauldron EDS through workshops and an online blog.

Australia’s Green Cauldron covers the remnants of ancient shield volcanoes now encompassing living Gondwana rainforest. These vast calderas stretch from Byron Bay to the Gold Coast and west towards the Great Dividing Range.
