Brochures including the map for this new section are available from the Boonah Visitor Information Centre, as well as online.
Once it’s complete, there’ll be 74km of trail connecting Boonah and Ipswich, with the trail also connecting with 40km trail networks of the Mount Joyce Recreation Park and the Flinders Goolman Conservation Estate.
The Donkey Society of Queensland have organised a Donkey Trail Walk for Sunday 18 March. The 9km walk will go from Hardings Paddock Picnic Area at Purga to the Goolman Lookout. Participants can bring their own donkeys and mules or just themselves and ride or walk with the group. All the details and RSVP information can be found on their website.
Community grants are currently open for eligible projects and activities. See the Department of Local Government and Planning website for details.
