The women of the Yugambeh Museum are taking on the world.

Cheyann Beard is a former Beaudesert High graduate and trainee at the Museum and recently earned a place in the Mununjali Banam Yilgahn dance troupe.

Samantha Turnbull, former trainee, is now going on to the University of Sydney to study a Diploma of Education/Aboriginal, while still working one day a week.

Reeghan Finlay has enrolled in a TAFE language course and is doing well.

Susie Cunningham joined the Museum as a volunteer journalist and has used the experience to snare a job with the local Beaudesert Times. In February she wrote her first page one story, featuring the Mununjali Banam Yilgahn dancers.
