Join farmers and landholders from the Scenic Rim for a show of strength from the Queensland bush and the city, as we converge on BRISBANE to STOP coal and coal seam gas being put before clean water, food, land and communities.

10.30am - THROW YOUR HAT DOWN in the traditional Aussie challenge for a fight, at Campbell Newman's Ashgrove office as part of a billy tea stop-over for country-farmers, landholders and supporters. Address: 150 Waterworks Road, Ashgrove

12 MIDDAY be seated for a one hour food security forum at BRISBANE CONVENTION CENTRE  - Brisbane Convention & Exhibition Centre

Cnr Merivale and Glenelg Streets, South Bank, Brisbane.

Four intelligent and courageous Queensland women  will talk to broadcaster Alan Jones about their experiences dealing with coal or coal seam gas companies and the impact this has on their families and communities before we hear from the Katter's Australia Party and the Green's about their take on this controversial issue. As we go to print the ALP and LNP have refused to attend.

1.15 pm  MARCH TO ANNA BLIGH's office to again THROW DOWN OUR HATS   The throwing of hats is something which has become synonymous with the fight to protect regions from gas and coal, after it was done in the final stand of the Kerry Blockade.

The success of this event hinges on numbers - it is your chance to help make a difference. Please help us by coming along with your hat. If you don't want to be part of the action, you can also just attend the forum and listen to the incredible and inspirational line up of speakers . There is also a bus transporting Scenic Rim residents, leaving BEAUDESERT @ 9am - might be easier than parking in the Brisbane CBD.
