After the successful cockatoo birding day held on the Gold Coast in 2009, this year’s survey aims to assess the Glossy Black-Cockatoo population across South East Queensland and Northern NSW.
The survey will be held on Sunday October 31 and conducted in bushland, she-oak habitats and protected areas within the Scenic Rim.
Workshops on Glossy Black-Cockatoo identification will be held at Mt Barney Lodge on Saturday September 11 and Beaudesert on Wednesday October 13.
