Keen food gardeners in South East Queensland have a new way of making friends and sharing their gardening adventures, thanks to the new social networking site Logan Food Gardeners: www.loganfoodgardeners.org
Logan Food Gardeners is an online food gardening community, where gardeners of all ages and skill levels can connect with other gardeners to discuss food growing in our region. New members are welcome from the SEQ corner, specifically Brisbane to the NSW boarder and from Ipswich to the coast.
There is plenty to see and do on Logan Food Gardeners. You can write about your garden (blog), post photos or videos, ask questions, make friends, discuss any related topic, offer things for sale or swap, post or join events and much more.
Members of Logan Food Gardeners meet off-line too! A monthly garden visit is organised at a different member’s garden each month. At these garden visits members get to meet each other in person and share their produce, seeds, seedlings and garden knowledge. In the future there will be a whole range of additional activities and meet-ups planned, including garden tours and cooking demonstrations.
Logan Food Gardeners is a friendly forum to explore, learn, grow and share. Come along and you will discover that there are keen food gardeners, to make friends with, just down the road from you.
