The Scenic Rim is a region of villages. We are so fortunate to be based within a living landscape of forests, mountains, big blue sky, and rivers and creeks because each day we can see what underpins our lives, families and communities: clean air, clean water, good soil, the flow of sunlight energy and biodiversity. Perhaps that’s why the Scenic Rim Region is home to so many active and enthusiastic community groups and people who bring environmental, social and cultural sustainability to life with their activities.
This section of the website is designed to introduce as many of the Scenic Rim’s sustainability community organisations, people and activities as possible to the region. We encourage you to support them by volunteering, participating in their events, donating to their good work and telling others about them – these are powerful and fun ways to grow sustainability in the Rim.
